My artistic passion
Since my freshman year at USC Dental School where I completed 32 individual sculpturettes, that’s right – 32 teeth, I have been passionate about art and have continually developed my artistic eye and skills through photography, sculpture and digital “painting.” I drew each tooth first with a #2 pencil and later carved them in ivorine wax to exact dimensions and with precise contours and dental anatomy. That experience inspired and hooked me on the beauty of natural objects, that up to that point, I had taken for granted. I discovered an artistic passion for recreating nature via the creative process of restoring teeth to their natural beauty of symmetry and harmony alongside form and color.
I continue to artistically express myself daily in my office by enhancing and rejuvenating smiles through esthetic and bio-esthetic dentistry; and outside the office with photography, sculpture and digital painting.
